Tuff Shed is a U.S.-based company that specializes in manufacturing durable and lasting “backyard buildings.” Established in 1981, the company has installed more than a million structures, while maintaining their values of excellence, integrity, respect, teamwork and ownership.
Tuff Shed was using nine different software platforms and numerous applications to manage sales and contracting processes. The company set out on an ambitious transformation initiative which moved these core business processes to Salesforce CPQ and eight different apps on the Salesforce.com platform.
Tuff Shed found they needed a new strategic partner for assistance in validating the design, filling in process gaps and coding solutions for many non-declarative use cases.
Statêra stepped in to help with these digital transformation and Salesforce implementations and to be a trusted and reliable strategic partner. A three-pronged approach was used: project management, solution architecting and declarative development.
Technologies implemented in this project were Salesforce CPQ, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, DocuSign, Conga Composer, Avalara, Geopoint and Chargent.
An agile framework was used for the project management aspect. This included detailed and frequent communication between the project manager and stakeholders at Tuff Shed. This approach not only kept the project on track, both organizationally and time wise, but also helped to develop trust and value.
